Reference is made to the recommendations of the 3rd Steering Committee Meeting (Damascus, 15-16/12/2002) and the recommendations of participants in the previous IP workshop, which was held in Tunisia, 17-19 June 2002.
In light of the rapid changes in the telecommunications and information sectors and internet technology, and in the light of the increasing international competition to provide telecommunications services, this workshop aims at shedding light on the importance of the
